The Bay of Plenty is just that – a place of abundance and endless opportunities.

It’s also an increasingly popular tourism destination for Kiwis and inbound visitors.

The region needed us to develop a new story and brand identity. One that would take them into the future and help secure their position on New Zealand’s tourist map. Their identity would need to feature the region’s diverse produce, industry, and stunning landscapes, while also expressing the warmth of its people.

We designed a logo that features an open smile, a colour palette that mirrors the landscape, and a character headline that conveys the story in a welcoming way. To capture the warmth of the people, the natural beauty, and the region’s famed produce, we make stunning photography central to the new identity.

Launched at the 2017 TRENZ conference, the new look was a hit – standing out for its positive presence.
